Frequently Asked Questions About This Plan

  • Hi Jeff, We are looking for plans for a 1 story log home and liked the simplicity and look of this design. However we would like a large master bedroom and a smaller guest room. Would that be possible with this plan and still keep the square footage under 1400? Also could the living room and kitchen be more open to each other somehow? Instead of the kitchen being closed off in another room? I found a plan I liked with the kitchen and living room all open with large bar only seperating them, but didn\'t like the rest of the design it was a 2 story home and we don\'t want a 2 story. Thank you, Jan

    It’s possible but would require a redesign of this plan. I suggest the you try using our Monster Search and select 1400 as you maximum square footage, log (from the architectural styles column on the right). That returned 10 plans that matched. Take a look at these first to see if one of these would work for you.
